How the
Academy works
Founded in September 2015, the Warwick International Higher Education
Academy (WIHEA) was the UK’s first academy of educators. In its tenth year, it
now reaches widely across the institution and beyond, with a vibrant community
and a wealth of impactful resources and collective achievements. Underpinned
by inclusive educational values and supported by various approaches, the
academy leads educational excellence by empowering staff and students to
forge meaningful connections.
